Four Suffolk Rams softball players were recognized as all-conference selections by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference: freshman catcher Delaney Sylvester, sophomore infielder Kristen Young, freshman outfielder Devlin Frost, and senior infielder Nicole Rosa. Senior Sarah Chasse was named to the GNAC Sportsmanship team. Full report

The Suffolk University softball team defeated Becker College in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III New England Championship quarterfinal round but lost to eventual champion Brandeis and to Albertus Magnus in the double-elimination semifinals.

GNAC Tennis Player of the Year

Senior Marc Winkler was named the 2015 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Tennis Player of the Year. He finished the season with a perfect 9-0 in singles play for Suffolk. Winkler also posted a 9-0 record in doubles play.

Junior Calixto Romero was also named a first-team All-Conference selection and to the GNAC Sportsmanship team. Freshman Alonso Vela earned second team All-Conference honors for singles play.

Suffolk tennis finished the year with a 6-3 overall record. They were the second seed in the GNAC North Division. The Rams were eliminated by Norwich University 5-4 in the GNAC Tournament semifinals. Full report

GNAC All-Conference Baseball teams

Three Rams baseball players earned all-conference selection by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference for the 2015 season: senior hurler Josh Desai, was 5-4 as the season neared its end, with a 3.00 earned run average; junior Jon Lapolla leads Suffolk with a .309 batting average and .485 slugging percentage; and freshman outfielder Brady Chant, who also was awarded a Gold Glove by the conference as the center fielder has not made an error this year.
