Half-time and full-time are dependent on the number of registered credits. 

SBS Students:

Fall & Spring Semester Full-Time:
A student must be registered for at least 12 credits to be considered full-time. A maximum of 15 credits is allowed.

Fall & Spring Semester Three-Quarter Time:
Between 9-11 credits per semester.

Fall & Spring Semester Part-Time:
Between 6-9 credit per semester. 

Fall & Spring Less than Half-Time:
Fewer than 6 credits. 

Summer Sessions: 
SBS graduate students (except online MBA students*) may take a maximum of 12 credits during the entirety of a summer semester, but may not exceed 7.5 credits in any one or combination of the following sets of summer modules: Module A, Module 1, and Module 3; or Module A, Module 2, and Module 3.

*Online MBA graduate students may take a maximum of 12 credits during the entirety of a summer semester, but may not exceed 6 credits in any one or combination of the following sets of summer modules: Module A, Module 1, and Module 3; or Module A, Module 2, and Module 3.

CAS Students:

Fall & Spring Semester Full-Time:
Full-time status is defined as 12 credits for CAS graduate programs.

Fall & Spring Semester Three-Quarter Time:
Between 9-11 credits per semester.

Fall & Spring Semester Part-Time:
Between 6-9 credit per semester. 

Fall & Spring Less than Half-Time:
